Edge protection systems are temporary safety barriers installed at the perimeter of elevated work platforms or open edges to prevent falls, classified under EN 13374 into three performance classes: Class A (static loads on flat surfaces up to 10°), Class B (low dynamic loads on surfaces up to 30°), and Class C (high dynamic loads on steep surfaces up to 60°).
